When we were on Jurong Island, we were given a short tour around the island. After the tour, the class went up to the ChemGallery which was quite cool. There was this periodic table with real elements inside small bottles and for the first time, I saw how some elements looked like, except for transparent gases of course. ChemGallery was interactive and there were games and quizzes for us to fill up to check our understanding. Overall, i think that this trip to Jurong Island was a enjoyable, enriching and educational one, as it will enhance our learning of organic chemistry in the future. The teachers should organise more trips like this to create interest of chemistry in students.
